Job Description:

As the Specialist II, Owned and Paid Digital Marketing at The GIANT Company, you will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of digital marketing initiatives across owned digital platforms, paid search, and third-party digital partnerships. This role is responsible for driving a cohesive, engaging, and high-performing digital experience by managing key programs across website content, search, digital promotions, and partner channels.

You will collaborate with cross functional partners to execute digital plans, optimize channel performance, and ensure alignment with ADUSA Digital and external partners. The specialist is responsible for tracking performance, managing digital updates, and contributing to channel improvements that strengthen traffic, engagement, and eCommerce outcomes.

This role plays a key part in supporting the Digital and eCommerce Marketing department purpose of managing owned and paid digital channels, increasing brand interaction, supporting eCommerce sales, and maximizing marketplace traffic.

Job Responsibilities:

Owned Digital Media and Website Content

  • Lead the planning, prioritization, and execution of website content and promotional placements
  • Translate marketing priorities and merchandising needs into timely and accurate digital updates.
  • Oversee integrated content calendars that align with campaigns, seasonal needs, and marketing initiatives.
  • Provide strategic guidance to cross-functional partners to ensure digital experiences reflect brand, loyalty, and Commerical goals.

Cross Company and ADUSA Digital Coordination

  • Serve as a key liaison with ADUSA Digital for web content execution, paid media coordination, and technical alignment.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination of digital requirements, timelines, and deliverables across cross functional partners.
  • Identify and advocate for digital experience improvements, influencing enterprise roadmaps and partner teams.

Paid Search Planning and Execution

  • Own the paid search strategy, including planning and optimization of the paid search channel including keyword support, ad assets, and performance reviews.
  • Direct both internal and external execution partners within ADUSA execution partners and internal teams to activate campaigns that maximize traffic and acquisition.
  • Analyze performance trend and evaluate targeting, messaging, and bidding strategies to improve results.

Third Party Digital Partnerships

  • Manage relationships with external digital partners, overseeing promotional placements, campaign execution, and partner led initiatives.
  • Analyze and report on partner deliverables, timelines, and performance outcomes.
  • Ensure partner effectiveness to inform investment decisions and future planning.

Digital Performance Analytics and Optimization

  • Own performance measurement across owned media, paid search, and partner channels
  • Translate performance data into recommendations for improved engagement, traffic, and conversion.
  • Lead cross-functional reviews by providing insights that reflect holistic digital performance.

Budget and Program Tracking

  • Manage budget use across owned and paid channels and maintain accurate documentation for program spend.
  • Monitor performance results against expectations and flag potential adjustments to support optimization.
  • Prepare executive-level reporting and insights and strategic recommendations.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including web content, paid search, social, and partner platforms.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and recommend performance improvements
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and external partners
  • Working knowledge of digital tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Experience with Google Ads or similar tools is preferred.


Minimum Requirements

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, paid search, website content management, or related fields. Retail or eCommerce experience preferred.
    Experience with performance analytics or digital campaign coordination is preferred.
