Job Description:

As Manager of Social Media at The GIANT Company, you will oversee the company's social media presence across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. This role is responsible for creating engaging content, managing community interactions, and ensuring that social media strategies align with brand standards and marketing objectives.

You will work closely with the Director of Digital & Omnichannel Marketing to grow brand affinity, increase engagement, and support omnichannel initiatives through innovative social media campaigns.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage The GIANT Company's social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies that align with marketing priorities and brand standards.
  • Create and curate engaging content for social channels, including posts, stories, and videos.
  • Monitor and respond to customer comments and messages to maintain a positive brand presence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate social media into broader marketing campaigns.
  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay current on social media trends and emerging platforms to drive innovation and engagement.
  • Ensure all social media activity reflects The GIANT Company's values and customer-first approach.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
  • Experience creating and managing content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other emerging platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret social media performance data.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Creative thinker with ability to develop engaging and innovative content.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing. Retail or consumer goods experience preferred.
