Position Description

Functionally reporting to the Head of Line of Business Finance, this position serves as a strategic advisor and partner to the CFO organization's leadership team. The role is responsible for defining and executing the strategy for finance technology platforms, data architecture, and transformation initiatives to improve processes, controls, and decision-making capabilities.

This role leads the design and evolution of scalable finance systems and a governed data ecosystem, ensuring the CFO organization operates with a high-quality, trusted 'Single Source of Truth.' The position plays a critical leadership role in driving enterprise-wide initiatives, modernizing finance capabilities, and delivering measurable business value.

This is a key change management role requiring strong problem solving, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across Finance, Technology, Risk, and Business functions.

Position Accountabilities



  • Drive the design and implementation of the CFO organization's future-state finance systems and data architecture
  • Define and execute a multi-year roadmap for finance platforms, data infrastructure, and reporting capabilities
  • Develop and govern a scalable 'Single Source of Truth' (SSoT) for finance data across systems and reporting
  • Establish strong data governance, data quality, and lineage frameworks in partnership with enterprise data teams
  • Lead identification, prioritization, and execution of finance transformation initiatives (automation, close optimization, reporting modernization)
  • Manage the Finance Systems and Data Center of Excellence, ensuring effective support and continuous improvement
  • Partner with Technology and Business Intelligence teams to align finance systems and data strategy with enterprise architecture
  • Develop and maintain a robust controls and governance framework, ensuring SOX compliance and disciplined change management
  • Lead cross-functional programs and projects supporting CFO organization priorities and enterprise initiatives
  • Serve as the crisis management coordinator for finance systems and data incidents
  • Develop and present executive-level dashboards, strategy updates, and transformation progress to senior leadership
  • Drive continuous process improvement across the CFO organization, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and insight generation
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Organizational Relationship

Position reports to the Head of Line of Business Finance, with a dotted line to CFO organization leadership, and strong partnership with Technology, Risk, and Enterprise Data teams.

Position Qualifications

Education & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree required
  • CPA preferred
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in Finance and/or Accounting with demonstrated leadership or managerial experience.
  • Banking experience preferred.
  • Process improvement certification preferred.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.


Knowledge & Skills



  • Strong understanding of core finance processes including close, consolidation, FP&A, and regulatory reporting
  • Experience with finance systems (ERP, planning tools, reporting platforms) and data environments
  • Knowledge of data architecture concepts including data modeling, governance, and integration
  • Ability to define strategic direction and translate into actionable initiatives
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex concepts in business-friendly language
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment


Salary offered will be based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. This position is also eligible to participate in either an applicable incentive compensation plan for the position or a discretionary profit sharing bonus program.
