Responsibilities

Assistant Director of Nursing

We are looking for looking for a positive, energetic, and self-motivated full-time (40 hours per week) Assistant Director of Nursing.

The Assistant Director of Nursing at Copper Hills Youth Center is responsible for Infection Control, sterile and non-sterile physical care equipment monitoring and surveillance, resident and employee health care education and prevention monitoring and surveillance, medical records and quality assurance to maintain compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, State and local standards at the facility. In this capacity, he/she also monitors and evaluates resident services and nursing documentation, prepares employee schedules, assists in resident and staff vaccinations.

This position is required to work as a floor nurse when needed and will be on call every other week for emergency calls.


Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Registered Nurse graduate of an accredited school of nursing with State of Utah RN licensure in good standing
Experience in behavioral health field preferred.

Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Must be CPR certified
