HDFS' Reno, Nevada office serves as one of the Company's two operations centers. HDFS first established its roots in 1992 in Nevada. It is also home to Eaglemark Savings Bank, the Company's lending institution, where all loans are funded. Reno employees represent the loan origination and servicing business units including Collections, Funding, Underwriting, Dealer Services, and HDFS' Cycle Insurance business unit. There are also employees who work in Accounting, Legal, Global Information Services, Risk, Enterprise Project Management, and Compliance who call this office home. Job Summary

This position is responsible for regulatory and corporate compliance projects and initiatives, with a primary focus on testing the design and effectiveness of compliance controls. Responsibilities include conducting compliance reviews and control testing, OFAC and FinCen compliance checks, complaint analysis, marketing reviews, assisting on updating training, periodic policy and procedural reviews including analysis of regulatory and legislative changes impact to existing policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, publish and present quarterly trend reports for both Senior Management and regulators.
  • Increase automation and eciency and generally move processes to a more proactive state while continuously improving existing processe
  • Provide oversight and project management for the Records Retention program, ensuring coordination of activities with applicable business units and key departments both at the company and parent company as applicable
  • Manage execution of daily and periodic regulatory compliance checks and self-assessments
  • Protection of information and compliance with the law are paramount. Protecting employee, customer
    and corporate information is everyone's responsibility at Eaglemark Savings Bank.
  • All employees must follow established safeguards, including policies regarding data protection, segregation of duties, and access to information based solely on business need. Further, it is the responsibility of all employees to maintain awareness and understanding of relevant laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures, and to comply with all of them.

Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Education Specifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required.
  • Will consider Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer (CCBCO), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or related certification.

Experience Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Compliance/Legal/Operational and Regulatory compliance background required
  • Strong prociency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access required. VISIO, Project Management and overall system application literacy preferred. (Must be able to use project management tools
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to interact eectively with all levels of sta
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work eectively with others
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, exibility and ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment required
  • Self-motivated; ability to work independently or on a self-directed basis
  • Demonstrated ability to take the initiative and achieve results in a fast-paced and changing environment
