CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Electrical Engineer to join our Generation & Energy Management Team in Reading, PA; Hartford, CT; or St. Catharines, Ontario. In this role, you will contribute to meaningful projects that support power generation, manufacturing, and mission-critical infrastructure. This is an opportunity to expand your technical expertise, work alongside experienced professionals, and help deliver resilient electrical solutions that support safe, efficient, and future-ready operations.



What You'll Do:

    Independently complete engineering design, technical analysis, and preparation of specifications and reports for mechanical energy, power generation, and facility energy system projects
  • Develop computation methods, technical reports, and specifications under the guidance of senior staff or technical leadership
  • Identify and resolve technical discrepancies, applying standard procedures and best practices to support system reliability, safety, and performance
  • Monitor project progress and performance, acting quickly to resolve technical or operational issues that could impact mission critical systems
  • Take responsibility for large portions of projects with oversight from senior staff or management, including field assignments and system assessments


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required
  • Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience required
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Strong working and theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in practical settings
  • Understanding of QA/QC procedures and regulatory standards
  • Proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $100,000 USD / $80,000 - $90,000 CAD

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
