Silgan Closures, a Fortune 500 global leader in sustainable packaging, is hiring Manufacturing Production Associates (Production Team Members) at our New Castle, Pennsylvania facility. This is a full-time Midnight shift manufacturing role offering steady hours, overtime, and long-term career stability. This position is ideal for candidates seeking entry-level manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operator jobs.

This role is also commonly known as: Production Team Member, Production Operator, Assembly Worker, or Warehouse Production Worker.

What you'll do

• Operate and monitor automated production and manufacturing equipment
• Perform quality inspections on plastic caps and finished products
• Identify non-conforming products and report issues to Quality Assurance
• Maintain production line flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Pack finished goods into cartons and stack boxes (up to 35 lbs)
• Label, tape, and prepare products for shipment
• Complete production paperwork and document machine performance
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

What you'll need to have

• Ability to lift 15-35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to read and complete production documentation
• Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production work is a plus
• No experience required - training provided for entry-level candidates
