Our company is one of the most significant publicly traded water, wastewater service and natural gas providers in the U.S. Key Responsibilities: Lead plant operations, including startup, shutdown, and process adjustments. Monitor and maintain treatment systems, pumps, chemical feeders, and control equipment. Collect and analyze water samples, perform laboratory tests, and record results according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and in accordance with standard laboratory practices Ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with engineering on plant improvements and statewide operational excellence initiatives. Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and coach staff. Oversee purchasing, inventory, and budget tracking. Prepare compliance reports and maintain laboratory accreditation. Act as primary point of contact for plant operations and plant emergency response. All work to be performed in accordance with company safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Valid PA driver's license. Ability to pass background check, physical, and drug screening. PA DEP Class B Water Treatment License with required subclasses. Maintain laboratory accreditation status. Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of surface water treatment processes. Ability to use SCADA and other operational software. Able to lift 75 lbs. Preferred Qualifications: College coursework in chemistry, biology, or environmental science. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Schedule: Monday - Friday, may include other shifts as needed. This is not an all-inclusive document.
