Tata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC, (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries. Position Summary Assists the traffic function, providing administrative support. Keeps records on the destination, weight, and charges on all incoming and outgoing shipments. Performs data entry, labeling, and filing; generates import files; helps with tracking/expediting freight and freight/broker invoice auditing. Ensures accuracy of rate charges by verifying classification of materials with rate schedule. Responsibilities File and fax shipment and receipt documents. Data entry into SAP and Excel. Receive and process sales orders. Generate shipping documents and schedules. Prepare and maintain reports using Microsoft Office programs or other programs. Responsible for communicating with other areas regarding shipment status and problem resolu-tion. Responsible for preparing reports as directed which may include some level of data analysis Responsible for handling other clerical duties. associated with the Traffic Department including maintaining files, records and office supplies. Provides regular feedback and escalate issues to department leader and/or manager when appropriate. Ensures proper and consistent compliance with all company approved policies and procedures. Qualifications SAP knowledge. BOURGUE/Yard Master (if possible). Has worked in a logistics/shipping/petrochemical environment. Excellent communication skills. Excel. Self Starter. Education Requirements High School diploma or equivalent.
