The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is seeking a highly motivated professional with supervisory experience for the Bureau of Alcohol Education, Education and Grants Management Division. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This role supports the development, delivery, and evaluation of statewide alcohol education efforts. It focuses on strengthening training, reporting, and public awareness activities that advance the mission of the Liquor Control Board. As an Alcohol Education Specialist Supervisor, you will assist in implementing and evaluating all aspects of the Education and Grants Management Division programs and initiatives. Duties will include:
- Program Support: Assist in carrying out division programs and initiatives that aim to reduce underage and dangerous drinking
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with professional staff to create training programs and learning materials for broad audiences
- Report Preparation: Contribute to developing and updating official reports, including those required for the Pennsylvania General Assembly
- Training Delivery: Present or help present training programs and guide staff in delivering effective educational sessions
- Event Oversight: Supervise planning and evaluation of the Alcohol Education Conference and awareness events
- Material Review: Work with staff to create new educational resources and update existing materials

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to four days a week, with one day per week in the Northwest Office Building in Harrisburg. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
- Must be willing to travel. Travel expenses will be paid.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Alcohol Education Specialist; or
- Two years of professional teaching, classroom instruction, or formal training experience, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes two years of professional teaching, classroom instruction, or formal training experience.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
- You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
