Advantage Technical is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for a precision motion control manufacturer specializing in custom servo actuators, gearheads, and gear component sets - serving Fortune 500 companies across the motion control industry. This role demands deep CNC machining experience. You won't just support production - you'll own it. What You'll Do (Job Duties) Program CNC mills, lathes, and mill/turn machines; optimize feeds/speeds for quality and tool life Troubleshoot machinery and process problems hands-on at the machine level Design fixtures and gages; prepare setup sheets and shop floor documentation Review designs for manufacturability, tolerances, and cost drivers Partner with design engineers, QC, and operators to drive throughput and quality Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action on quality discrepancies Train machine operators on procedures and task-specific requirements What You Bring (Requirements and Qualifications) Extensive hands-on CNC machining experience in a production environment - this is non-negotiable Strong CNC programming and troubleshooting capability (mills, lathes; mill/turn a plus) CAD/CAM experience; solid understanding of GD&T and drawing standards Working knowledge of work holding, machining principles, and shop math Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Benefits Competitive salary: $100,000-$115,000 This is a direct hire position.
