Job description
The person filling this role will be responsible for assisting the existing R4 distributed developers in processing daily work, that includes, but is not limited to: Rehydrations, OPA changes, EOL software updates, server upgrades, Github Security Violations, creation and monitoring of DataDog logs, Disaster Recovery Testing, B2B Certificate Renewals, Venafi API Authorization Changes, and Jira story resolutions. Furthermore, this person will be the R4 point person in providing production support for distributed applications. They will be responsible for addressing such issues in a prompt manner by meeting with our Engineering counterparts in a collaborative manner to work toward a resolution. Lastly, they will assist the R4 Team Lead in managing all TLM items and support the Engineering Leads in delivering the execution. They will be responsible for organizing TLM items by category, due date, etc., and routinely meet with the Engineering Leads to assess the statuses, give feedback, and answer any questions that arise. They will also be available to support production installs and help remediate any issues that arise. Additionally, they will partner with the Engineer teams in adhering to best practices and perform standardized checks post-install which mitigates the risk of production issues from occurring.
