What We Need:
We are looking for an Experience Center Associate to join ourHNI Workplace Furnishings team.
The Experience Center Associate will support the Senior Experience and Hospitality Manager to deliver a high-level brand experience in the Chicago Experience Center. You will also be responsible for assisting in showroom administration to ensure operational efficiency, stakeholder hospitality and excellence with alignment to the brand.
What You Will Do:
  • Represent the strategic brand identity, welcome guests, curate an elevated brand experience, drive increased traffic, and elevate utilization of the facility.
  • Work alongside the event team to set event strategy, coordinate, and assist in hosting all events - event set up and clean up.
  • Support curation of client, dealer, and influencer experiences, including, but not limited to, brand activation moments, hospitality, and follow up communication.
  • Seek continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures to make the space more functional for customers and sales members.
  • Maintain working relationships with sales team, local dealer sales representatives, and influencers. Manage onsite literature and product sample libraries and sample chair program for both brands.
  • Provide back-up support, if needed, regarding showroom calendar maintenance, facilitate schedules, and communicate with sales team with notification of major events, product installations, etc. Maintain and communicate a showroom dashboard that provides visibility to weekly events and showroom activity.
  • Help coordinate on-site contractor needs and provide facility access accordingly.
  • Oversee and execute product installers and Field Service Engineers for product installations. Will partner with Design, Customer Support, Product Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing to actively manage location product quality. Manage punch lists to completion timely.
  • Responsible for resetting showroom, restocking supplies, ensuring kitchen area well-kept, and assist is technology needs.
  • Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
What You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree Required. Preferred degrees and/or areas of concentration include, but are not limited to, Architecture and Design, Interior Design, Digital Communications, or Marketing.
  • A minimum of 1 year of hospitality or event management experience with a focus in customer experience/client relations, event planning, project management, showroom management, or facilities management preferred.
  • Previous experience with hospitality preferred.

  • Ability to work both collaboratively and individually, with internal and external teams. Role requires working with cross-functional teams on a regular basis.
