Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling activities. This role involves pulling and preparing customer orders, loading and unloading delivery trucks, stocking inventory, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has recent warehouse experience, forklift operating experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position may support multiple warehouse functions based on operational needs.

Job Responsibilities



  • Pull, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Load and unload pipe trucks and other delivery vehicles using proper material handling procedures.
  • Receive, inspect, verify, and stock incoming materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Stage materials and products for shipment or delivery.
  • Operate a sit-down forklift to move, store, and retrieve materials safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper storage, handling, and organization of materials.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse support functions as assigned.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide basic operational support when needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow established warehouse procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Support multiple warehouse functions and adapt to changing business needs.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of 3-6 months of recent warehouse experience required.
  • Minimum of 6 months of sit-down forklift operating experience required.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to learn product information and warehouse procedures quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, twist, pull, stand, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Demonstrated employment stability with minimal gaps in work history preferred.


Work Experience



  • Minimum of 3-6 months of recent warehouse experience required.
  • Minimum of 6 months of sit-down forklift experience required.
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, inventory management, or material handling preferred.
  • Experience working in distribution, warehouse, or industrial environments preferred.
  • Stable work history with no significant unexplained employment gaps preferred.
