The Resource Planning Analyst III is a senior level professional who is responsible for executing modeling, data analysis, and reporting to support planning decisions. This role maintains and enhances Dynamic IRP capabilities, supports Plexos and other analytical tools, and translates model outputs into actionable insights. The Analyst ensures data accuracy, develops reporting solutions, and provides consistent, decision-ready analysis to support IRP development, regulatory needs, and internal portfolio evaluation. Key Responsibilities
Champions a corporate culture that emphasizes transparency, integrity, safety, environmental responsibility, employee development, sense of belonging, customer service, and operational excellence. Prepare and validate data inputs to support resource planning models, aligned with corporate strategies and planning requirements. Execute and support modeling runs, analytical evaluation and reporting, and refine results to support planning scenarios and decision-making. Develop dashboards and reports to communicate planning scenarios, assumptions, and results to stakeholders including senior leadership and committee members Translate model outputs into clear, actionable insights for the Resource Planning team and cross-functional partners. Support ad hoc analysis and scenario updates to respond to evolving planning needs and stakeholder requests. Maintain and enhance Dynamic IRP analytical capabilities and reporting tools. Build proficiency in Plexos and other analytical platforms to support internal and external reporting. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and traceability of data, assumptions, and analytical outputs. Continuously improve analytical methods, tools, and individual capabilities to strengthen team effectiveness.
Qualifications Required Education, Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering or related field and/or 7+ years of related experience. Ability to negotiate and influence with a consultative approach Strong knowledge of leading practices for their practice area Willingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job Demonstrated ability to communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiences Proficient at functioning effectively within a team environment, present ideas and opinions in a respective and collegial manner
