JOB SUMMARY

The Strategic Services Associate supports the Duke Health Integrated Practice Office through project management, data analysis, strategic planning, and execution of key organizational priorities. This role leads and supports initiatives across ambulatory operations, access, and physician practice management in partnership with executive leadership.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Lead strategic projects and task forces in support of the President and COO to drive key initiatives aligned with ambulatory and physician practice priorities, including ambulatory footprint expansion, analysis for board meetings, and access improvement.
  • Organize and lead executive leadership meetings, prepare comprehensive presentations, and ensure follow-up on action items.
  • Lead process improvement efforts to enhance workflows and develop project plans that enable successful execution of key initiatives.
  • Support continued unification of ambulatory operations across practices (DHIP, DPC, cDHIP, HBC).
  • Analyze data to identify trends, create visual representations, and summarize insights to inform operations and strategy.
  • Partner with the DHIP Chief of Staff on projects and initiatives directed by leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Provide leadership and event support for large events such as team meetings and leadership summits, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination across DHIP Management System committees and councils.



JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor's degree in a business or health-related field is required. A Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of work experience, including 3 years with significant responsibility for performance/process improvement and/or data analysis. Experience leading work teams is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization.
  • Project management skills.
  • Executive communication.
  • Effective organization in Microsoft 365, including Teams.
