KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and improve calibration program, including gage recall, interval scheduling, location management, replacement gages, onsite and offsite coordination with third party calibration house
- Manage RT process, including internal tracker updates, facilitation with suppliers, and direct communication with customers
- Works with computers (ERP systems)
- Participates in the implementation and utilization of the COS tools as necessary for continuous improvement of processes.
- Manage RT program in collaboration with suppliers and customer
- Manage and perform internal audits according to schedule
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with Military Contracts.
- Experience managing a calibration program
- Experience with internal auditing
- Gage management software experience, Indysoft a plus
- ERP/MRP knowledge is required. IFS would be a plus.
- Must be detail oriented, skilled at problem solving, be assertive, diligent, and have ability to multitask.
- Must be organized, work independently, and have good time management skills, with ability to prioritize work.
- Must have excellent communication skills and display the ability for sound decision making.
- Must be a team player, set agendas and stick to task and plan.
Education & Experience
- High School student or graduate or preferably a candidate with an Associate's degree (A. A.) from two-year College or technical school.
- 3-5 years related experience
- ASQ (or equivalent) certification strongly preferred
