Position Summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Machinist Skilled for 1st shift to set up and operate heat treat equipment (Nitride).

1st Shift - 5 AM to 1:30 PM

Your responsibilities

  • Keeps machines and work areas clean and organized.
  • Performs basic preparation of setups (only as allowed by supervisor on PSPF 013, posted in that cell).
  • Actively participates in High Performance Teams and company-sponsored training programs.
  • Completes additional duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D
  • The ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal instructions is required in order to perform the duties described above.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing, previous experience with metal manufacturing a plus.
  • Ability to demonstrate this knowledge to the supervisor.
  • Previous experience in this field preferred but not required.

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $23.63/hr to $29.58/hr
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
