Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an Irregular Warfare Analyst for its' Cyber Operations and Analytics programs.

Location: MacDill AFB, FL

Role & Key Responsibilities:

    The Irregular Warfare Analyst will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and disrupting adversarial uncrewed systems (UAS, UUVs, USVs, UGVs) and associated threat networks within the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR).
  • This position requires expertise in counter threat network (CTN) targeting, irregular warfare, and special programs, with a strong focus on interagency collaboration and law enforcement integration to degrade hostile uncrewed system capabilities.
  • You will support a Combatant Command, Directorate of Operations, Interagency Coordination and Targeting Division (ICTD) and interagency (IA) mission partners to coordinate, synchronize, and integrate a wide range of DoD capabilities with IA mission partner authorities directly supporting time-sensitive, dynamic, and deliberate operations and activities that deliver comprehensive, multi-layered actions - sequenced to achieve maximum whole-of-government effects.
  • You will be integrated into a DoD team focused on IW support and collaboration with USG partners.
  • You be the subject matter expert on structured analysis, pattern of life studies, and the fusion of traditional intelligence with unique, structured and unstructured data sources, able to illuminate and exploit enemy vulnerabilities related to proliferation, procurement and weapons of mass destruction networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Counter Threat Network Targeting: Identify, analyze, and map adversarial networks that develop, deploy, and support uncrewed systems, including state-sponsored, proxy, and non-state actors.
  • Threat Analysis: Assess the operational employment of uncrewed systems in asymmetric warfare, insurgency, terrorism, and gray zone conflicts across the CENTCOM AOR.
  • Target Development: Prioritize high-value nodes within adversary logistics, procurement, financial, and operational networks for kinetic and non-kinetic targeting options.
  • Intelligence Fusion: Integrate multi-source intelligence (SIGINT, GEOINT, HUMINT, OSINT, MASINT) to build a comprehensive picture of uncrewed system threats and their supporting networks.
  • Special Programs Support: Leverage experience with classified and compartmented programs to enhance operational planning and counter-threat initiatives.
  • Interagency & Law Enforcement Coordination: Work closely with SOF, U.S. government agencies, law enforcement, and international partners to counter the illicit proliferation and operational use of uncrewed systems.
  • Counter-UXS Strategy: Support lethal and non-lethal activities, to include electronic warfare (EW), cyber, and technical countermeasures to neutralize adversarial uncrewed systems and disrupt their supporting networks.
  • Regional Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of threat actors, procurement pipelines, smuggling routes, and financial enablers linked to uncrewed systems across the CENTCOM AOR.
  • Briefings & Reporting: Produce actionable intelligence assessments, target packages, and strategic reports for senior leaders, operational planners, and policymakers.

* This role is critical in countering uncrewed system threats by targeting the networks that develop, fund, and deploy them, directly supporting U.S. military, allied forces, law enforcement, and interagency operations in the CENTCOM AOR.



Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relavant experience.
    • Military service-based training and an additional 4 years will be considered in lieu of the bachelors degree requirement.
  • Extensive experience in counter threat network (CTN) and counter transregional organized crime analysis and targeting, with a focus on uncrewed systems and irregular warfare.
  • Demonstrated experience and background in special programs, compartmented operations, and classified initiatives.
  • Familiarity with CENTCOM operational environment, threat actors, and regional dynamics.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with SOF, interagency partners, and law enforcement to dismantle illicit networks.
  • Proficiency in targeting methodologies, intelligence tools, databases, and analytic tradecraft.
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex intelligence into actionable targeting recommendations.
  • Experience operating in a 4-star military headquarters or an Interagency Partner environment as a staff member with background in the following:
    • Demonstrated experience in developing and supporting DoD strategic and operational Irregular Warfare objectives.
    • Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with USG Interagency partners.
    • Demonstrated ability to perform all source operational intelligence analysis.
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver unclassified/classified products and parallel reconstructed products tailored to maximize wide-ranging capabilities and authorities.
    • Demonstrated understanding of law enforcement agency organizational structures, functions, data sources, data types, programs, records management requirements.
    • Demonstrated expertise with financial investigative groups that target complex enemy global money laundering, and other criminal financial activities.
  • Good oral and written communications skills, including an expert ability to communicate effectively with intelligence collection requirements at the operational and national intelligence levels.
  • Expert Microsoft Office Skills.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Current U.S. Passport.
  • Active DoD Top Secert security clearance with SCI eligibility.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree and minimum 15 years of experience working in the military All Source Intelligence field.
  • Graduate of a recognized Intelligence Collections Support Course at the Joint or Service Level and Information Operation planning experience.
  • Experience working with distributed teams.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
