Description
As Learning Instructor II for Clinical Informatics, you will be a pivotal member of our Clinical Informatics & Learning team, responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating EHR training programs. Your expertise in instructional design, training methodologies, and healthcare technology will empower our staff to use our EHR and related systems proficiently and efficiently to improve patient safety, care delivery, and patient, family, and staff experience every day.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in education, health care, instructional design, or a related field is advantageous. (Required) Or Master's Degree Master's or other advanced degree in education, health care, instructional design, or a related field is advantageous. (Preferred) Minimum Work Experience 2 years Two years of hands-on experience in instructional design, providing on-the-job training, or professional education responsibilities, preferably in a health care or medical environment. (Required) And 5 years Five years technical or professional experience using multiple EHRs and/or related software. (Required) Required Skills/Knowledge Strong expertise in EHR systems and healthcare technology, with a focus on integration into clinical workflows or operations. Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools, learning management systems (LMS), and virtual training platforms. (Preferred) Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences through multiple channels, including static and dynamic pre-recorded and live content delivery. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously. Demonstrated experience in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles. (Preferred) Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and build relationships with clinical, operational, administrative, and IT stakeholders.
