Department 10318 Lab AdministrationPay Range $20.30 - $39.63 Primary Location - GoldbergShifts - PRN (as needed) 8am-8pm Monday-Thursday 8am-530p Friday 830am-530pm Saturday Who We Are: The Outpatient Phlebotomy team at Children's National Hospital supports six outpatient locations across the DC area, providing essential specimen collection services in a patient-focused, clinic-based setting. Phlebotomists in these locations work more independently while supporting a primarily pediatric population, performing venipuncture and ensuring accurate specimen collection. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the role includes administrative tasks, patient registration support, and coordination of specimen handling to ensure timely processing and delivery for diagnostic testing. About the Role: The Clinical Lab Support Rep will perform tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures as dictated by the specific section. Will provide patient services and administrative support in laboratory operations. Will interact with parents, patients, physicians and other staff under moderate supervision in a courteous manner. Will provide assistance to other employees within their department as well as other departments. Will be responsible to collect, receive and process specimens, check for proper and complete patient information, patient registration, and perform other related services and clerical duties. Will train employees and others in the duties described in job description. Will schedule patients in the computer system. Minimum Education

The disclosed salary range includes the minimum and maximum rates within which Children's National believes an individual's base pay rate will fall for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the maximum of the pay range. The exact pay rate for this position will be based on a variety of factors in alignment with the Children's National compensation philosophy.
