Job Summary Physical Therapist - Inpatient Acute Care $10,000 Sign-On Bonus Available Overview Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a dedicated Inpatient Physical Therapist to join our dynamic, academic teaching hospital. This role provides the opportunity to work with pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy required or Master's Degree Physical Therapy preferred or Doctorate Physical Therapy preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Physical Therapist [State License] - required Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Various Issuers preferred Experience Experience working as a physical therapist in a hospital, rehab or Ambulatory setting 1-2 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Knowledge of medical terminology. - Excellent organizational skills. - Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems. - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. - Teaching others how to do something. - Excellent problem solving, case management and communication skills. - Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements.
