NV5 performs Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and remediation across the country and in all market sectors. We are a team of licensed professionals, including registered geologists, engineers, remediation experts, industrial hygienists, and safety specialists.

Join our Bay Area, California team! We are looking for a local Bay Area professional to support environmental site investigation and remediation projects, with a focus on soil and soil vapor sampling. This position will also play a key role in overseeing the installation and operation of a Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) system.


Responsibilities

    Assist field investigations by collecting soil, soil vapor, and water samples
  • Document site activities
  • Direct work of subcontractors as applicable
  • Prepare written reports, exhibits, and drawings
  • Calibrate and operate various pieces of field equipment
  • Work with varying degrees of supervision


Qualifications

  • Degree in physical sciences, environmental science, or engineering
  • 1-3 years of site and remediation (soils and vapor)experience is required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience conducting field assessments
  • Competent-to-advanced user of MS Office Suite
  • GIS, AutoCAD experience a plus
  • California driver's license

The pay range for this position in California is $90,000 to $110,000 per year. Base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
