JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Provide a quality learning and mentoring experience to newly hired Medical Assistants.
  2. Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs.
  3. Maintain an updated Medical Assistant learning library of links, power point presentation and other resources.
  4. Prepare and deliver training materials such as module summaries, videos, and presentations.
  5. Assist with monitoring protocols to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities according to training.
  6. Develop training schedules, design, and develop training resources (outsourced or in-house) for corporate, clinical, and other SSCHC training needs.
  7. Choose appropriate training methods based on audience and deliverables. May include but not limited to, virtual, return demonstration, lecture, classroom teaching, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes, etc.
  8. Develop schedule and teaching aids for remedial learning.
  9. Create individualized training strategies, initiatives, and materials.
  10. Test and review created materials through feedback and peer review.
  11. Assist with new employee training and onboarding needs.
  12. Develop and assist Preceptors on effective training methods.
  13. Participate in and inform weekly feedback meetings about trainee performance.
  14. Will occasionally assist with triage calls and other clinical RN duties.
  15. Maintain new hire orientation checklist up to date.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. RN Clinical experience of more than 2 years.
  2. Ability to relate well to people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
  3. Able to effectively teach, correct and encourage.
  4. Strong written and oral communication skills necessary.
  5. Must effectively lead in one-to-one, mentoring relationships as well as larger audience settings.
  6. Must be bilingual (Spanish/English).
