Yard Laborer

Garden City Sanitation, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscious Yard Laborer to join our team in Santa Clara, CA!

The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday 7am-4pm.

The starting wage for this position is $36.37/hour.After 120 days of probation, the pay rate is $45.46/hour.

Responsibilities Include:

* Yard and facility maintenance including debris and oil spot clean up

* Manual labor including landscaping and fence line maintenance

* Pressure washing and storage management of carts

* Picking up and sweeping wind blown trash

* Various utility tasks as needed

Requirements:

* At least1 year of work experience. Preferably in a laborer type role

* The ability tostand outsidethroughout a 8 hr shift

* The ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

* Ability and will to work in all weather conditions

* Experience running equipment is a plus (floor sweeper, scrubber, manlifts)
