Facility Coordinator JLL

What this job involves:

We are seeking a hands-on Facility Coordinator to support daily operations through technical maintenance and administrative coordination. This role is crucial to ensuring optimal facility performance and exceptional client service across multiple JLL-managed properties. You'll serve as the frontline problem-solver and operational backbone for your assigned sites, supporting seamless business operations while directly impacting workplace experience and satisfaction. As business needs evolve, this position offers the opportunity to develop broad facilities management expertise while contributing meaningfully to JLL's operational excellence.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Execute work orders, preventative maintenance tasks, and service requests promptly while minimizing disruption to clients and occupants.
  • Conduct daily facility inspections to maintain clean, safe environments and proactively identify potential maintenance or safety issues before they escalate.
  • Perform minor repairs on office furniture, fixtures, and equipment to keep workspaces functional and professional.
  • Schedule and coordinate contractor work across multiple sites, tracking projects from initiation through completion while maintaining quality standards and timelines.
  • Maintain organized, accurate records using computerized maintenance management systems to ensure documentation compliance and operational transparency.
  • Support workplace services including employee onboarding/offboarding activities, seating assignment coordination, and space planning for personnel moves.
  • Manage procurement processes, vendor follow-up communications, maintenance documentation, and budget tracking to support financial accountability and operational efficiency.
  • Replenish office supplies, provide administrative support to facility teams, and set up/break down venues for conferences, meetings, and special events.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in basic facilities maintenance and vendor management within commercial or corporate environments.
  • U.S. Citizenship and valid driver's license with reliable transportation for traveling between multiple sites within a 10-mile radius.
  • Technical proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and computer applications (Microsoft Office suite, email, scheduling software).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all organizational levels, from vendors to executives.
  • Demonstrated organizational abilities, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment and initiative.
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) such as ServiceNow, Maximo, or similar platforms.
  • Background in preventative maintenance procedures and scheduling within facilities management contexts.
  • Prior experience in commercial property management, corporate facilities, or building operations environments.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems for troubleshooting support.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and emergency response procedures.

Location: Onsite - Cluster of properties within a 10-mile radius

Work Shift: 1st Shift

Salary/Compensation: $28.00 - $35.00 Per Hour

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

28.00 - 35.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
