Position Summary

The Parts Finisher is responsible for finishing metal used in the assembly process by deburring, cleaning, painting and oiling metal components. This position will advocate and support the Corporate Win Strategy.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

* Identify and remove sharp edges, rust and any other malfunctions by using different hand held power tools.
* Clean and oil metal components to customers specification and prep for paint or assembly.
* Set up, maintain and operate paint equipment and related equipment.
* Load and unload metal components from large baskets.
* Maintain clean work area.
* Responsible for accurate production counts and reporting.
* Participate in High Performance Team (HPT) and Kaizen events.
* Perform these and other duties as requested by cell lead if applicable or value stream supervisor.

Qualifications

Qualifications

* Manufacturing or related experience preferred.
* Ability to use different hand-held power tools.
* High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
* U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility required.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
* Ability to work overtime during the week and on weekends as needed.

This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
