This is a foundational, enterprise-impact role designed to strengthen medication safety, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness across UVA Health. As a key member of a growing team, you will directly support system-wide initiatives that ensure safe, effective, and data-driven pharmacy practices across inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, and specialty settings. In this newly created role, you will collaborate closely with pharmacists and operational leaders to transform complex data into actionable insights. This position is ideal for a pharmacist or pharmacy professional with a strong interest in medication safety, compliance, process improvement, and cross-setting pharmacy operations. The Role This role sits within the Inpatient Pharmacy cost center while supporting enterprise-wide operations, reflecting UVA Health's integrated approach to medication safety and regulatory excellence. You will serve as a key operational partner to pharmacists, helping advance audit readiness and strengthen compliance infrastructure across diverse care settings. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy required. Experience: No experience required. PGY-1 residency or equivalent clinical experience preferred. Licensure: Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License or within 60 days of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Job requires sitting for prolonged periods; Repetitive motion: typing. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull less than 20lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The pay range for this role is $64.37 - $87.33 hourly.
