Description & Requirements Broad Institute's Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization supports the institute's scientific programs by ensuring reliable receipt, storage, and distribution of critical laboratory materials and equipment. The Logistics Assistant II supports both SCM loading dock operations and Supply & Quality Management (SQM) stockroom operations, helping manage the movement and tracking of research materials across multiple Broad facilities. Logistics Assistants receive laboratory consumables, scientific instruments, and other research materials used across the institute. They record inventory transactions in SAP and support distribution of supplies through stockrooms, internal delivery routes, and satellite laboratory supply stations ("minimarts"). The role requires strong attention to detail and the safe handling of sensitive research materials, including hazardous chemicals and temperature-controlled reagents. Logistics Assistants play an important role in ensuring Broad researchers have reliable access to the materials required for their work. Logistics Assistants may be assigned responsibilities across loading dock operations, stockroom inventory management, or other logistics functions depending on operational needs. Responsibilities
Requirements
The expected base pay range for this position as listed above is based on a 40 hour per week schedule. Broad provides pay ranges representing its reasonable and good faith estimate of what the organization reasonably expects to pay for a position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, qualifications, and other factors permissible by law.
