Position Description and Purpose:

Key Essential Functions/Duties:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment processes for both hourly and salaried positions, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates, including leveraging job boards, social media, networking events, and talent pools.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements, team dynamics, and departmental goals.
  • Screen and shortlist applicants effectively, ensuring alignment with job competencies and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, including behavioral and competency-based assessments.

Employer Branding:

  • Work collaboratively to enhance the employer brand and promote Roskam Foods as an employer of choice.
  • Represent the company at job fairs, career events, and industry networking functions.

Process Improvement:

  • Evaluate and improve recruitment processes for efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all recruiting activities within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Analyze hiring metrics and provide regular reports on recruitment performance and trends.

Candidate Experience:

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Provide timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers.

Compliance:

  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies, employment laws, and industry regulations.
  • Stay informed on federal, state, and local employment laws.
