Part-Time Instructor | Accounting and Finance

The Department of Accounting and Finance invites applications for Part-Time Instructors to teach accounting courses. Assignments may include undergraduate and graduate courses and will be based on the applicant's educational background, professional experience, and areas of expertise. Courses are taught face-to-face.

The Department of Accounting and Finance provides a high-quality accounting and finance education that integrates technical skills with the development of personal attributes necessary for the continued growth and success of our graduates. We help our students build competence in technical accounting knowledge, communication, and critical thinking, as well as analytical, interpersonal, and technological skills. We offer competitive academic scholarships to assist students desiring to enter the program.

The Department of Accounting and Finance offers two undergraduate degrees, the Bachelor of Science in Accounting and the Bachelor of Science in Finance. These degrees have led to professional certification and career success for many aspiring accounting and finance professionals.

A Ph.D. in accounting is preferred. Applicants who are ABD or hold a master's degree in accounting or a closely related field will also be considered. Prior teaching experience and relevant professional experience are valued.

Candidates should have at least 1-3 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level, and 2-3 years of industry experience.
