Summary of Job Duties:- Perform general carpentry work including construction, repair, and maintenance of buildings, structures, and fixtures.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood, drywall, flooring, cabinets, doors, windows, and other materials.
- Assist with remodeling, renovation, and special projects as assigned.
- Repair damaged walls, ceilings, flooring, roofing, and other structural components.
- Install and maintain shelving, partitions, trim, and other finish carpentry elements.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and work orders.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
- Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Assist other maintenance, facilities, or construction personnel as needed.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures, regulations, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Respond to routine maintenance requests and emergency repair needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • One (1) year of experience in carpentry, building maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic carpentry techniques, materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and measurements accurately.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license preferred or required, depending on operational needs.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier materials with assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
