Job:Accountant II (Revenue Accountant)

The SCI HuntsvilleAccountant II (Revenue Accountant)will be responsiblefor maintaining contract records for ASC606 Revenue Recognition, ensuring compliance with federal regulations. accurate revenue recognitionandtimely financial reporting.Thisrole will work closely with the SCI Contracts team as well as the SCI Program Management group.

TheAccountant IIwill report to the Division Controller. This role has growth potential and highvisibility within Sanmina Corp and will interface with internal and external auditors and internalleadership.

Nature of Duties

• Maintain revenue recognition processes under federal contracting standards
• Develop and execute efficient accounting practices and controls; challenge and overhaulineffective processes.
• Work closely with SCIContract/SCI FP&A teamto develop insightful integrated financial forecasts.
• Collect and interpret financial data to influence, recommend or impel managementtoward logical decisions consistent with company objectives.
• Identifiesany potentialriskconsistent with direction provided by the Division Controller and Corporate Accounting.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5-7 years'in revenue accounting with federal contracting experience
• ASC 606 revenue recognition principles understanding and practical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of FAR and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards) preferred; integratedfinancial systems (Oracle Projects preferred), cost accounting/analysis in an actual-job order cost environment
• Excellent organizational skills and time management is essential
• Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
