Key Responsibilities



  • Inspect and test products throughout manufacturing to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Perform dimensional, attribute, mechanical, performance, destructive, and non-destructive testing as required.
  • Record inspection and test data while utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods when applicable.
  • Prepare inspection reports, document nonconformances, and assist production teams in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Calibrate and maintain inspection tools, gauges, and measurement equipment.
  • Operate precision measuring equipment including CMMs, profilometers, hardness testers, optical comparators, calipers, micrometers, protractors, and other inspection instruments.
  • Lead or support Material Review Board (MRB) activities, containment actions, and internal/external sorting projects.
  • Conduct and lead quality audits, including ISO and in-process product audits.
  • Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Skills



  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or technical certification preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of manufacturing or engineering experience.
  • Proficient with precision inspection tools and quality measurement equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to evaluate inspection results, determine product conformity, and make sound quality decisions.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare reports, procedures, and communicate findings.


Physical Requirements



  • Frequently lift and move materials up to 25 lbs.
  • Perform standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling throughout 8-12 hour shifts.
  • Work primarily on concrete flooring in a manufacturing environment.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment, including hearing protection, in high-noise production areas.
