The video production technician is responsible for inspection, troubleshooting and repair of Video Processors and affiliated accessories.


Responsibilities of Medical Device, Video Production Technician:




  • Incoming inspection of video products, as well as the repair of all defective video products returned by the customer


  • Make necessary adjustments to mechanical components and electronic circuits to ensure product performs correctly to specification\


  • Effectively complete all required department documentation per policy in the designated company systems


  • Obey all safety regulations and report infractions and hazards to the department manager.

  • Coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipment
  • Complete inspection and pricing for video repairs, and utilize company designated system for the generation and provision of quotes for all repairs for customer service
  • Provide phone support to field service team and sales representatives
  • Other duties as assigned by management



Requirements of Medical Device, Endoscope Repair Technician:


  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Six (6) months to one-year related experience or/and training
  • Prior experience with mechanical, electrical or electronic products
  • Ability to provide phone support to service technicians and sales representative
  • Prior experience with PENTAX Medical product preferred
