We are seeking a part-timeTelehealth Psychiatrist to support our Outpatient Services programs in Harrisburg, PA and Carlilse, PA. Pay range: $200-$210/hour Shift: 10-12 hours per week + 1 hour per week supporting the Mobile Psychiatric Nursing (MPN) program. Position details: The Telehealth Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for adults with behavioral health needs. This position collaborates closely with an interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, accessible psychiatric care through telehealth. The Psychiatrist will: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish accurate diagnoses using evidence-based practices. Develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans in collaboration with therapists, nurses, case managers, peer specialists, psychiatric rehabilitation specialists, and other members of the treatment team. Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications while ensuring safe medication management and adherence to Merakey policies regarding prescription renewals and electronic prescribing. Provide crisis intervention, psychiatric consultation, and ongoing medication management for individuals participating in the Partial Hospitalization Program. Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Educate individuals and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment recommendations, medications, potential side effects, and expected outcomes while obtaining informed consent. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment meetings, case conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and peer review activities to support high-quality patient care. Collaborate with primary care providers, community partners, and external behavioral health providers to ensure coordinated, person-centered care.
