Summary
The Government and Public Relations Job Family is collectively responsible for building and maintaining proactive, mutually beneficial relationships with local, state, and federal elected officials; regulatory bodies; community and environmental; Business and Economic development stakeholders with the goal of ensuring the Power Authority's reputation and benefiting all New Yorkers. This job family provides expertise in navigating established processes and contributes knowledge of their respective subject matters. Conducts outreach to internal groups and external entities, communicates and shares information with them, and briefs other NYPA business units and executive staff. Develops and implements initiative and actively participates with other NYPA business units in developing further actions. Provides strategic direction, planning, coordination, and analysis of Federal and New York State regulatory activities impacting NYPA operations, customers, and long-term plans requirements. Represents NYPA on inter-agency State task forces or working groups to advance New York's energy policy/renewable energy goals. Advises internal NYPA business units of regulatory mandates and other state policy and regulatory proceedings. Responsibilities

The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
