Production Technician Specialist will work in both a team environment and in a solo environment with minimal direct supervision, reading instructions and assembling products and/or pieces of products, which will include testing sub-assembled parts before the required assembly. Once assembly is completed, advance the piece and/or product to the next phase in the manufacturing process. Attention to detail, proper documentation, storage and maintenance of production parts, tools, test equipment, and the ability to keep the production workstation neat and orderly is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily preparation of workday materials necessary for the completion of projects are available.
  • Working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing.
  • Process faulty production units and return to appropriate Vendor for repair or replacement.
  • Ensure all personnel are following prescribed procedures for assembling, testing, barcoding, and packaging of products.
  • Troubleshoot and assist in training new employees.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly workspace at all times.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by Production Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience is an asset.
  • SAP experience considered an asset.
  • Technical background preferred
  • Knowledge of technical components, assembly, and testing
  • Associates degree in Computers (AA) or equivalent work experience, as well as manual dexterity skills and the ability to assemble products quickly and accurately
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Other duties can include, but are not limited to, special projects, or cross-training on other job functions within the team
Hourly Range $17.78-19.86 per hour
