Job Responsibilities & Requirements POSITION SUMMARY: Operate and set up Amada CNC laser cutting systems, robotic welding cells, and auxiliary manufacturing equipment to produce structural steel components that meet engineering specifications, dimensional requirements, and quality standards. Responsible for reading blueprints, verifying measurements, performing in-process inspections, maintaining tight tolerances, and accurately reporting production results. Supports continuous improvement, safety, quality, and productivity initiatives within the MBP manufacturing operation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or GED required. One year of manufacturing, CNC equipment, fabrication, welding, or related industrial experience preferred. Experience operating Amada laser cutting equipment is strongly preferred. Language Skills: Effectively communicate with co-workers and management regarding work and safety issues. Mathematical Skills: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Comprehend job training and safety instructions.
