Salary range:
The annual salary range for this position is $69,073-$82,836. The hourly rate for this position is $33.09 - $39.68. Application Window Open date: July 10, 2026 Next review date: Monday, Aug 10, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Jul 9, 2027 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior, University of California Irvine, anticipates openings in the Postdoctoral Scholar Series. Postdoctoral Scholars are individuals in training who have recently earned a doctoral degree and are engaged in mentored research and/or scholarly activity to enhance their professional skills and independence. Appointees work under the general supervision of a faculty mentor or Principal Investigator and contribute to ongoing research projects while developing their own research expertise. Candidates should have a background in disciplines including, but not limited to, psychiatry, neuroscience, genetics and genomics, neuroimaging, behavioral and cognitive science, addiction research, child and adolescent mental health, computational psychiatry, psychopharmacology, data science, and population mental health, or other relevant research areas employing quantitative, clinical, or translational approaches. This is an ongoing recruitment. Salaries are based on University of California salary scales, which are dependent on academic rank and step, and commensurate with experience.
