Description The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a full-time Clinic Coordinator to join the Child OCD, Anxiety, & Tic Disorder Clinic. Our Clinic specializes in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety and related problems in children and adolescents. Our goal is to deliver effective, evidence-based treatments to improve the lives of youth dealing with conditions such as OCD, anxiety, tic, and body-focused repetitive behavior (BFRB) disorders.
You will provide high-level administrative assistance and support the program faculty, staff, administrators, and patients. Primary responsibilities include:
  • Front desk duties (triage calls, greet and check-in patients)
  • Responsible for patient interviewing and encounter registration
  • Obtaining all financial and demographic information from patients
  • Accurately encounter patients utilizing proper Care Connect functions
  • Explaining in the NPBHS procedures and necessary information to patients including required authorization and estimated liability
  • Verifying insurance benefits and accurately record benefits for finance review
  • Reviewing accounts for change in status and re-verify benefits and/or authorization
  • Scheduling and confirming patients appointments
  • Other duties as assigned
Salary range: $30.36/hr - $43.49/hr
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, human development, or related behavioral science field (preferred)
  • Ability to interact with children with OCD and/or anxiety disorders and their families
  • Coursework or exposure to OCD and/or anxiety disorders (preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a clinical, medical or research setting involving patient coordination, administrative support, or study support
  • Experience with calendar management meeting coordination, or multi-step project workflows (preferred)
  • Experience working with OCD and/or anxiety focused research or clinical programs (preferred)
  • Experience using clinical or scheduling systems (ex: EMR platforms such as CareConnect) (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and communications in a high-volume environment
  • Strong organizational and project-management abilities, including tracking action items, maintaining documentation, and prioritizing tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across staff, leadership, and patients
  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with REDCap or Qualtrics
