You will lead the recruitment delivery for our Washington, DC office in the Atlantic region and be involved in creating and implementing strategies to achieve hiring needs, including the oversight of awareness building and attraction activities for the cell.
You will lead and coordinate recruiting processes end-to-end including application analysis, assessment and cultivation for both campus and experienced professionals. You will drive improvement initiatives for Washington, DC office recruiting efforts, with a keen focus on diversity, local hiring and bringing exceptional talent to the community.
You'll partner closely with McKinsey Partners across the Atlantic and Washington, DC to scope out hiring requirements and advise and align on best fit recruiting strategy, using your industry experience and market knowledge to define approach.
You'll use your keen eye for data management, navigating our systems, and ensuring regular and reliable reporting to leadership and recruiters within your team. You'll build networks with recruiting peers across the Atlantic and Washington, DC, and beyond. You will connect for knowledge building and best practice sharing, strengthening your global network and contributing to cross-team projects.
You'll partner effectively with our recruiting support teams to ensure a streamlined interview experience. You will play a recruitment delivery role, interacting with candidates, consulting with them on exciting and rewarding careers in our Washington, DC office. You will be based in our Washington, DC office as part of our dynamic office delivery recruiting team.
You will lead a team of recruiters in the Atlantic region, for the delivery of recruitment and strategy setting for the team.
You will be leading the exciting expansion of the Washington, DC office across local and international campuses and early career professionals in the location. We have a diverse team of consultants from the office who are ambassadors of recruiting.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience in-house or recruiting agency, with solid exposure to campus hiring for the Americas region
  • Recruitment event management experience is a must
  • Prior experience leading small teams of recruiters, and helping to define recruiting strategy with senior leadership is required
  • Ability to thrive working in a fast-paced dynamic recruitment environment
  • Ability to take initiative and demonstrate comfort with ambiguity
  • Deep knowledge of modern recruiting skills, with a strong sourcing toolkit
  • Ability to create work product-focused materials / outputs
  • Exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment

    To help you understand what you can expect, the salary range for new joiners in this role in United States, including all office locations where the job may be performed, is $130,100 - $162,600 USD gross per year. This reflects our best estimate of the lowest to highest
    [salary/hourly wages] for this role at the time of this posting, ensuring you have a clear picture right from the start, though it's important
    to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current
    organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion
    and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
