DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position provides essential clerical support to the Dealer Agent Services Unit by processing applications, maintaining records, and assisting customers as needed. As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will perform the following duties:
- Processing Tasks: Handle title and registration applications, temporary registration extensions, and customer requests based on the documents submitted
- Record Maintenance: Update case files, logs, spreadsheets, and system records to ensure accurate tracking of dealer and agent activities
- Customer Assistance: Support customers at the service window, explain procedures clearly, and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
- Compliance Support: Review reports, review payment issues, and provide information that helps determine appropriate actions for dealers and agents
- Communication Duties: Prepare letters, notices, and updates that relate to compliance, enforcement, and customer transactions
- Collaboration Work: Work with State Police, investigators, and other partners to help address compliance matters and support program needs

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
