Medical Receptionist Decatur, GA Pay From: $22 Per Hour MUST: Must be able to start immediately 4+ years of recent experience in multi provider specialty medical office- Answering phones Checking patients in and out Experience pre-authorizing procedures and handling pre-certs Ability to process referrals Verify insurance Ability to assist with inquiries EMR -NextGen experience Strong scheduling experience Must be able to work in a fast paced environment BLS DUTIES: The duties of the Medical Receptionist include but are not limited to the following: Answer phone calls Respond to inquiries Check patients in and out Obtain pre-authorizations and pre-certs on various procedures Schedule appointments Respond to inquiries Process referrals Forwarding calls to appropriate contact Entering patient information into Next Gen EMR Providing customer service Assisting patients as needed Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
