Every detail of the company's one-of-a-kind manufacturing facility is tailor-engineered to streamline and improve customer service, engineering and manufacturing processes. POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Taping Worker position is responsible for properly sealing, embedding, and taping products per customer drawings, requirements, specifications, or other forms of instruction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform bench-type processes to complete taping, using hand tools.
- Following established methods and procedures, must be able to perform, but not limited to the following operations necessary to tape strips: read job traveler, create parts to sample given by supervisor, safely use utility knife.
- Use and be familiar with tape and measuring tools, interpret visual aids and must be able to perform simple shop math.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years of work experience desired in a manufacturing environment.
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable by management.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a member of the Quality Management System, quality procedures, requirements, work instructions, and other required documentation must be followed. Team members are responsible to be aware of the company's quality policy and quality objectives in order to support the improvement projects and contribute to the overall mission of the organization.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Works primarily in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with regular exposure to dust, odors, oil, and fumes with moderate noise. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility.
- Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, and reaching.
- PPE required may include safety glasses and gloves in designated areas of the facility.
