Work Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift

Compensation: $17.75 - $17.75/hour

Tessera is seeking a Hard Working and Motivated General Clerk II with a positive and helpful attitude.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • Process clothing records by updating individual records in the CIF-ISM system, selecting records to print, and distributing them to soldiers via email.
  • Greet customers, answer phones, take messages, and respond to routine inquiries.
  • Receive records requests and retrieve requested files from filing cabinets, transporting records as needed up to 1,000 feet.
  • Make copies of memos, adjustment documents, and other required materials throughout the day.
  • Prepare labels, alphabetize documents, and maintain organized filing systems in accordance with procedures.
  • Provide efficient and professional customer service to soldiers and unit personnel.
  • Assist with conducting monthly inventories to ensure accurate accountability of clothing and equipment.
  • Inspect clothing records to verify accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Assist in processing temporary equipment loans and lateral transfers to supported units.
  • Ensure customers are properly cleared through the Central Issue Facility (CIF) when leaving the installation.
  • Process adjustment documents by recording data in logbooks, sequencing document numbers, matching documents to clothing records, and filing records chronologically.
  • Maintain files for delinquent accounts for customers who have not completed the clearance process within 30 days and provide updated reports to III Corps G4 monthly.
  • Provide support to the General Clerk III as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support mission requirements.
  • All Other Duties as Assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Proficiency with MS Office required.
  • Must be a team player and ready to help the team wherever it is needed.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience working in an office environment is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
  • Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

  • A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
