Job Summary

TheSenior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for providing interim financial planning and analysis (FP&A) leadership and backfill support across media and consumer platform businesses. This role serves as the primary finance liaison between business units and corporate finance teams, driving budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and executive-level financial analysis. The Finance Consultant, Senior Manager delivers financial insights, supports strategic decision-making, ensures corporate alignment, and maintains continuity during transitional periods.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance point of contact between business units and corporate finance teams to ensure financial and strategic alignment.
• Provide FP&A leadership and oversight across multiple media and consumer platform businesses.
• Manage monthly financial close reporting, including variance analysis and performance reporting.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks, opportunities, and key business drivers.
• Review and challenge forecast assumptions to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
• Prepare executive-level financial narratives, presentations, and reporting packages for leadership.
• Manage corporate submissions, supplemental schedules, and financial system reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and strategic decision-making.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and business performance.
• Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies to support operational effectiveness and seamless interim coverage.
• Support ad hoc financial analyses, special projects, and leadership requests as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support business objectives and financial initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Significant experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial reporting, and budgeting required.
• Experience serving as a finance business partner and supporting multiple business units and stakeholders required.
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling required.
• Demonstrated experience preparing executive-level presentations and financial reporting packages.
• Experience developing scenario analyses and providing strategic financial recommendations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information to senior leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting systems.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field required.
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced financial certification preferred.
