| Position Summary |
Reporting to the Director of the
FTMBA &
MSBA Career Management Center (
CMC), the Associate Director of Career Advising and Education leads the strategic design, implementation, and delivery of comprehensive career coaching and educational programming for Full-Time
MBA (
FTMBA) and Master of Science in Business Analytics (
MSBA) students. This role is responsible for establishing a data-driven, individualized career development framework that empowers students to secure high-impact employment. In addition to direct coaching and curriculum development, the Associate Director provides functional leadership, mentorship, and ongoing professional guidance to the center's career advising staff-specifically the Manager of Career Engagement and the Career Training & Development Specialist-while collaborating on employer-facing marketing initiatives. |

- Deep understanding of the MBA and MSBA career landscape, job functions, and industries.
- Demonstrated ability to guide, mentor, and elevate professional staff, fostering a collaborative, high-performance team environment.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and oral), presentation, analytical, organizational, and project management skills

- Deliver high-impact, personalized 1-on-1 and group career coaching to incoming, deposited, and current FTMBA students to clarify career goals, define professional value propositions, and map targeted job-search strategies.
- Develop specialized, industry-specific preparation programming tailored to competitive recruiting verticals such as Consulting, Investment Banking, Technology/Product Management, Leadership Development Programs, Corporate Finance, ensuring students are equipped for industry-specific timelines, interviews, and technical assessments.
- Utilize advanced career center technology platforms, including Slate, Handshake, CareerOS, Quinncia, to monitor real-time student engagement and job-search progress, proactively deploying targeted interventions for unplaced or disengaged students.

- Design, implement, and facilitate a progressive, structured career development curriculum and workshop series that spans the student lifecycle (Assess, Prepare, Connect).
- Author, curate, and scale educational content, digital toolkits, listserv communications, and resources covering advanced resume/LinkedIn construction, executive presence, advanced interviewing, high-impact networking, and salary negotiation.
- Create evaluation metrics to measure the educational effectiveness of workshops and programming, using student feedback and employment data to iterate and improve delivery annually.
