Summary:

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a dynamic and strategic Healthcare Recruiter to support the attraction, engagement, and hiring of top talent across the organization. This role serves as a trusted talent advisor to hiring leaders, driving full-cycle recruitment efforts while delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.

The Healthcare Recruiter partners closely with operational and clinical leaders to understand workforce needs, align hiring strategies with business objectives, and develop proactive talent pipelines. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, talent assessment expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate recruiting and hiring activities in accordance with PHS policies, procedures, and applicable employment regulations.

  • Partner with hiring leaders to develop recruitment strategies and sourcing plans for assigned openings.

  • Source, screen, interview, and present qualified candidates for consideration.

  • Create and manage recruitment marketing efforts, including job advertisements and outreach campaigns for routine and hard-to-fill positions.

  • Assess candidate qualifications and facilitate offer development, including salary recommendations aligned with compensation guidelines.

  • Serve as a trusted talent advisor, providing guidance on hiring decisions, market trends, and recruitment best practices.

  • Represent Presbyterian Healthcare Services at local, regional, and national recruitment events, career fairs, and networking opportunities.

  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting programs and initiatives to improve talent attraction and hiring outcomes.

  • Build relationships with colleges, universities, and community organizations to support early career and workforce pipeline efforts.

  • Advise leaders on compensation-related hiring decisions, including new hire salary placement and internal equity considerations.

  • Monitor and report on key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate flow, sourcing effectiveness, offer acceptance rates, and open requisitions.

  • Analyze talent acquisition data, labor market trends, and workforce insights to support data-driven decision-making and workforce planning.

  • Continuously evaluate and recommend strategies to attract, engage, and retain high-quality talent.

  • Maintain consistent communication with hiring leaders and stakeholders, providing regular updates on recruitment progress, challenges, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, health or related field required or 6 years' experience in lieu of degree.

  • Two to four years of relevant experience.

  • Strong analytical decision-making skills.

  • Required computer proficiency skills in MS Office applications

  • Experience sourcing and recruiting for professional, operational, or healthcare positions.

  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.

  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities.
