Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Previous sanitation, food manufacturing, or production experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of sanitation procedures and cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and varying schedules as needed


Job Duties



  • Clean and sanitize production equipment, trays, racks, floors, walls, ceilings, and common areas
  • Remove waste and maintain cleanliness throughout production, warehouse, and office areas
  • Operate sanitation equipment including floor scrubbers, pressure washers, industrial vacuums, and steam cleaners
  • Inspect equipment after cleaning and complete required sanitation documentation
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of sanitation equipment
  • Organize and store cleaning chemicals and sanitation supplies according to safety guidelines
  • Prepare production equipment and lines for daily operations
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP requirements, and all food safety procedures
  • Maintain restroom and facility supply inventories
  • Report safety concerns, contamination risks, or equipment issues to management
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety, quality, and workplace safety
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
